The watering schedule for basil seeds depends on where you are planting them. If it is growing outside in a pot water every day till it germinates. Once you have seedlings of your basil seeds you can water them every 1-2 days. It is recommended that you mist the seedlings with water at the base.

Italian Basil seeds grow best in well-drained soil which is pH-neutral. While you are planting the basil seeds, you can add rich organic compost to the potting mixture.

Italian Basil is a sun-loving plant, just like other herbs. Basil seeds thrive in a warm climate with around 6-7 hours of sunshine per day. It grows well in 27 to 32 degrees C temperatures.
